hi, we're dori & eric.
we started well tended after one too many sitters left us with vague updates, missed visits, and a mystery mess in the kitchen. so we run it the way we wished someone had run it for us: show up on time, actually communicate, love on your animals, and leave your home exactly the way we found it.
the one at your door
dori is the one who shows up. a lifetime of cats, dogs, chickens, and exotic birds, plus years of caring for other people's pets on rover, means she reads a room fast: the shy cat who needs the long game, the dog with strong opinions about the mailman, the hen who's convinced she runs the yard. when she's at your place, your animals are the entire job.

eric is the reason your message gets answered while dori has her hands full of dog. he keeps the schedule honest, the inbox short, and tags in on visits when a job needs four hands. the animals prefer dori. he's made peace with it.

the things we do well.
and to be upfront: no overnight stays. we come to you, on a schedule you set, then leave your home exactly as we found it.
drop-in visits
the core visit: food, fresh water, litter and cleanup, playtime, and a once-over of the house before we lock up. your routine, followed to the letter.
dog walking
unhurried walks on your dog's terms. sniff stops are part of the deal, and you'll get the full report: route, business handled, mood on return.
flock care
feed, water, open up, tuck in. eggs collected, headcount confirmed, coop left the way your hens expect it.
medication
oral and topical medication, given on schedule and noted in your visit update. we don't do injections, and we'll tell you straight if a care plan needs more than we can offer.
rates
good care, plain numbers.
base rates up front, add-ons listed right here, and anything unusual quoted in writing before we book. no surprises on the invoice.
30-minute visit or walk$35
the standard drop-in or dog walk. covers up to two dogs or cats.
60-minute visit or walk$55
for bigger routines, anxious pets, or any visit where thirty minutes would be a squeeze.
flock care visit$35
about thirty minutes for one backyard flock in one coop. morning let-out and evening tuck-in are separate visits.
add to any visit
extra dog or cat+$5 per visit
beyond the first two, at either length. if your routine won't fit the half hour, we'll recommend the hour instead of stacking fees.
flock add-on+$20
your one-coop flock, folded into a dog or cat visit at the same home, when the whole routine fits comfortably in the visit.
the fine print
major holidays add $15 per visit. the exact surcharge is confirmed in writing before your booking is confirmed.
routine oral and topical medication is included when it can be given safely within the visit.
bigger flock setups (multiple coops, large flocks, full coop cleans), special-needs routines, indoor or exotic birds, and outside-the-area requests get a custom quote. just ask.
